CONGRESS OPENING

The Opening Ceremony of the 12th International Scientific Conference on Bioorganic Chemistry devoted to the Memory of Professor Yuri Ovchinnikov and the 8th Russian Symposium “Proteins and Peptides” will be held in the Congress Hall of the M.M. Shemyakin & Yu.A. Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry
on September 18, 9:30–10:00.

LANGUAGES

The official languages of the Joint Life Science Forum are Russian and English.

Keynote and Plenary Lectures, as well as Plenary Presentations will be in English.

Symposia Talks. Speakers are requested to prepare their PPT presentations in English. Talks should be delivered in English if international audience is present at the respective session. In case of domestic audience, the speaker can make the choice as regards the language, either English or Russian.

Poster Sessions and Young Scientists; Competition. Presenters are free to choose either of two options: (1) English as the main language of the poster presentation with a summary in Russian or (2) Russian as the main language of the poster presentation with a summary in English.

LECTURES AND SYMPOSIA TALKS DURATION

Plenary Lectures: 30 min
Plenary Presentations: 15 min
Oral Presentations of Young Scientists: 5–7 min
Symposia Talk: 10–30 min

PPT PRESENTATIONS

Due to a very tight time schedule and in order to provide a smooth slideshow, PPT presentations should be saved at conference laptops in the respective congress hall before the respective session or in advance. We regret not to be able to connect speakers’ laptops to our projectors.

Congress staff responsible for slideshow, will assist the speakers. We will not transfer any of your data to the third parties.

If you feel that your slideshow will require some special software, please feel free to e-mail your presentation at info@rusbiochem.org (Marina Tretyak, Scientific Secretary of the Program Committee) to check in advance.

YOUNG SCIENTISTS COMPETITION

All poster presentations of young scientists should be displayed from Sept 18, 9:30 through Sept 22, 17:00. The authors are requested to attend their poster site on

A team of experts will evaluate the posters. Authors of best poster presentations will be invited to give short talks (5-7 min) in a special session on Sept 22, 9:30–12:00.

POSTER SESSION

Congress Organizers invite all participants to visit the Poster Area. Posters will be displayed from Sept 18, 9:30 through Sept 22, 17:00. The authors are requested to attend their poster site on
